The pretty village of Chirivel has a population of approx. 1,800 inhabitants and is steeped in history from Roman times. There´s a good expat community with British, Dutch and Belgiums, and according to the Seller the Spanish are very friendly.
It has all the usual facilities including a market on Friday mornings and a pretty tree lined river. The surrounding scenery is beautiful.
