The name of this cave "Bella Vista" means pretty views and it certainly has those across the local countryside.  It is situated in a quiet little hamlet around 10 minutes drive from the nearest village with amenities with beautiful surrounding scenery as far as the eye can see so is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all.  

Access is good via a tarmacked road then there is a short track leading from this to the property itself.  The cortijo to the left side of the cave house is owned by another family member who doesn't want to sell.

It is semi-detached and is like a tardis!  The cave covers an area of 253m2.  

The main part of the cave is reformed to a Spanish standard, there is a kitchen area and large walk-in pantry room, a large living room with fireplace, 3 large double bedrooms, one single bedroom and another cave room.  There are stairs leading up to two further rooms, one each side of the stairs.

The garage door leads to the unreformed cave part which connects with the main living area through the kitchen.  This consists of two large rooms, and a further 3 rooms – one of which has a hole in the roof to allow light and ventilation and another which has an open fireplace and a room where bread used to be made. 

To the right side of the cave is a building that was used for keeping animals in the past which has two levels and a room on each level as well as a WC (it covers 60m2).  This is entered from outside.  

The mains electricity and water have been connected in the past and will need connecting up in future.   Internet is possible.

The land included is –

1.  Threshing land above the cave covering 2,100m2 which has 360 degrees open views of the stunning local countryside.

2.  Land to the right side of the cave and to front covering 2,372m2.

The cave faces a southerly direction so you can enjoy beautiful sunsets.

The nearest pretty and historical village of Orce has a weekly market, shops, bars, two banks, a hotel, infant and primary school, chemist, post office, spring fed fish swimming pool open all year round, doctor's surgery etc.

The coast is around 1h30 drive away and there are beach areas and thermal baths at Lake Negratin which is 45 minutes drive away.

The nearest airport is Granada (1h30 drive away) followed by Almeria, Murcia, Alicante and Malaga.
