A ten minute stroll would take you into the village. One of the neighbouring properties is owned by the town hall and used for exhibitions, talks and sometimes flamenco evenings.

Granada airport is 75 minutes drive, Almeria 1.40hrs and Alicante 2.30 hrs.

Benamaurel has one of the largest Moors and Christians fiestas in April each year, there are a few shops and plenty of bars for day to day use.
